BFA Bank took part in the VI Annual Mergers and Acquisitions Conference, organized on June 18, 2009 by Vedomosti newspaper, was meant for sharing experience, as well as for providing the relevant and unbiased information about the current M & A market processes in Russia. The event was attended by all representatives of the M & A market: corporations’ shareholders and management, investment banks, financial and legal advisers, investors planning to buy or sell a business. BFA Bank was represented by Dmitry Istyufeev, Deputy Chairman of the Board. The participants discussed the current trends and Russia’s mergers and acquisitions market forecasts for 2009, as well as the peculiarities of M&A transactions during the crisis and the pre-crisis period.
