On February 15-16, 2010 the IV Annual International AutoInvest Conference was held in St. Petersburg to attract investments in the sector of components manufacture of the automotive industry. The conference brought together the representatives of all the key players in the sector, as well as the regional authorities, industry associations, enterprises producing automotive components, experts and financiers. In 2010, the conference addressed a number of relevant topics, such as macroeconomics and the development of the automotive industry, the development concept of the Russian automotive industry and the introduction of modern materials by 2020, the strategy of improving the competitiveness of the local suppliers and the Russian investment sites. Ilya Kokarev, Deputy Chairman of BFA Bank Board, gave a speech at the session titled “Encouraging Investments for the Manufacturing of Automotive Components. Investment Projects in Russia."
