On October 1-5, 2009 BFA Bank contributed to the North-West Banking Week. The project was facilitated by the Association of North-West Banks and the Finance Committee of St. Petersburg. The objectives of the Banking Week were to introduce the financial market products and services to the public, to increase the financial awareness of the population, as well as to analyze the most acute problems of the North-West credit and banking system and the solutions thereof. A number of events, involving both the representatives of the banking community and St. Petersburg city dwellers, were arranged within the frame of the project. BFA companies participated in the professional conference “The North-West Credit and Banking System: Response to the Crisis”, as well as in the exhibition “Financial Products for the Public”. The guests of the exhibition were free to get the professional advice from BFA experts on the banking services, as well as to visit a workshop on financial awareness, specially organized by the Bank for this purpose.
