BFA Bank became a party to the RBC conference “The Troubled Debts in the Russian Economy” held on December 16, 2010. The purpose of the conference was not only to identify the best practices and solutions in debt handling, but also to draw the attention of the business community towards this issue. Due to the joint efforts of the participants and the organizers of the conference, the event enabled a new stage in the relations between banks, borrowers and the government; a constructive dialogue on the parties’ cooperation, aimed at resolving the debt problem, has begun.
Presentation of awards by the International Academy for Leadership in Business and Administration, took part in the final part of the conference. Evgeny Lotvinov, the President of BFA Group, CJSC, was awarded the International Synergy Award for the bank’s sustainable development during the crisis and the International Solon Award for his contribution to solving the debt problem.
