On March 23, 2010 the chief executives of St. Petersburg banks, as well as the representatives of law firms participated in the Round Table “The Banks of North-West: Challenges-2010”. RAUD company organized the event together with Expert North-West business magazine. The round table on the banking sector issues was useful for the banking community, lawyers and consultants. Banks’ representatives stressed that it was still early to talk about the end of the crisis. The general feeling on the matter was expressed by the Deputy Chairman of Bank VTB North-West, Vladislav Trofimov, who noted that “the fire of the liquidity crisis was put out with a vast amount of money” that “only pushed the disease deeper inside,” added the Deputy Chairman of BFA Bank Board, Dmitry Istyufeev.
